The PCU manager position involves responsibility over a 28 bed progressive
care unit/cardiac unit and a 14 bed step down unit primarily post EENT
surgical patients with PCU/med-tele overflow.
Both units are constantly turning over patients because of the
patient population. You must be able to
handle this patient volume and the fast turnover!!
Previously managed a PCU or TELE unit for at least 3 years.
MUST have BSN
Current TX RN License or Eligibility
BLS and ACLS are Required
A strong leader is needed so candidates with Charge Nurse experience
