Job Location : Abu Dhabi
Minimum Requirements:
Materials Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or experienced Secondary Technical certificate (12 years) or equivalent with internationally approved inspection certification such as NACE/ERS and minimum of 10 years field experience.
8 years experience in a paint inspection function in the oil refining or petrochemical industry, including experience in controlling plant inspection records.
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Role Inspects all plant equipment and pipe work within the LNG Plant, Utilities and Offplots areas to provide quality assurance and quality control of all ongoing plant painting and insulation programme as well as other non-metallic materials such as insulation/cladding, refractories and fireproofing materials.
Co-ordinates with Maintenance the inspection of all ongoing and new application works of paintwork, insulation and refractory projects. Performs comprehensive plant surveys in order to initiate preventative programmes with particular regard to susceptible areas.
