Job Title: Associate Manager- Purchase (Drilling & Workover)

- Graduate/Diploma Engineer
- 8-12 years experience in the procurement function, last 3 years at a similar position with an oilfield services company in to drilling & work over services.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Start procurement process on receipt of an approved MR by opening a PO file with clear tabs showing Requests for Quotes, proposals from suppliers, communications, bid evaluation sheet & PO.
- Identify the suppliers, send out RFQ, expedite the quotes from the suppliers.
- Prepare bid evaluation sheet.
- Prepare order with the most competitive supplier in terms of price and availability.
- Forward the file to Purchase Manager for review and approval process.
- Send the approved PO to supplier with copies to Expeditor and to others as instructed by Purchase Manager.
- Ensure Acknowledgement of Order (AOO) is received from supplier in line with Company terms and conditions.
- Ensure proper filing of papers in the PO file.
- Visit market place for local purchases and/or market study if required.
- Visit Company sites for inventory count if required.
