Job Title: General Manager - Real Estate Development
Job Location: Oman
Company: A leading well-known business house in Oman is looking to appoint a General Manager for their new diversification into the real estate development. The group has a very large land bank at its disposal. To take advantage of the growing opportunities in the country and to capitalise on its core strengths, it has ambitious plans to get into the real estate development.  
Job Role:

• The incumbent shall be able to kick start the business and lead it from the front to fulfill the needs of the business. 
• He will be a techno commercial person with proven technical and business skills. 
• He will be responsible for setting and hitting group goals, and developing best practices for the business.
• The individual will be responsible for defining and championing the investment criteria for real estate development. 

Requirements: 

• Professionals with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering plus a Master’s Degree in Business Development or Finance, 15 to 20 years experience in the Middle East real estate development markets and at least 5 years of project management experience are preferred.
• The incumbent must have demonstrated experience in originating and structuring new joint ventures or real estate transactions. 
• He shall have the ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, proven verbal and written communication skills, and be able to interact with the senior industry leaders. 
• He must have an experience in presenting technical financial information to the board. 
• The position will report to the chairman.
