Company: A major multinational retail business who are looking to hire a Finance Manager to head up their accounting function.This company is a major multinational business within its industry and has many household brands.This is an exciting and challenging role within a large (turnover circa USD three billion) retail and FMCG group.
Requirements:
- As the Finance Manager you will have responsibility for the accounting function for the geographical area and will report to the Finance Director.
- Within the country that you manage, your team will be approximately six strong and primarily responsible for the management of the accounts for a number of brand operations.
- This will include preparing financial statements according to IFRS, reviewing finances and liaising with auditors as well as leading and mentoring the team in all aspects of accounting.
- The successful candidate should have more than five years experience, three of which should include managing the accounting function for at least one part of a large (USD 300 million plus turnover) retail or FMCG business.
- You should also have excellent technical knowledge, leadership ability and be a professionally qualified Chartered Accountant.
