Responsibility, Accountability and Authority:
The Assistant Logistics Co-ordinator will be required to perform a variety of accounting functions, namely:
- Assist the Logistics Manager and Ordering & Purchasing In-charge for preparing and issuing PO’s.
- Handle department’s PO filing system and maintain records, adhering to the company’s document lifecycle procedures, including but not limited to photocopying, scanning, retrieval of documents updating PO status in the system, etc.
- Handle all agents and suppliers invoices for verification process and GM’s approval then transmit to accounts
- Print, prepare and dispatch Engineering Reports in a given period of time and monitor receipt of the client.
- Ensure department’s stationery requirements are provided when requested.
- Handle mail duties including courier service requested within the department.
- Provide administrative assistance to the department as and when required.
- Provide active participation in the form of adherence to and improvement of the Company’s Integrated Management System.
Organization Relationships
The Assistant Logistics Co-ordinator reports to the Logistics Manager and coordinates with other departments to efficiently look after the logistical requirements of the business.
Requirements:
- High school (or equivalent) education.
- Conversant with the software used.
- Fluent in writing and spoken English.
