- As a Creative Web Designer, you’ll be responsible for the creative execution of our main web, mobile and tablet sites for our incredible clients.
- All in the fun and relaxed environment of Auto Trader’s offices in Dubai Media city.
- From prototyping to launch, you’ll have great input over each step in the creative process.
- You’ll create the experience and then work closely with our engineering and back end team for the execution.
- The ideal candidate for this role must have an excellent online portfolio (with URLs of course) showing stylish, well-coded and visually-appealing websites and demonstrate good experience with HTML and CSS.
• Design experience of multiple, integrated stylish websites, all seamlessly connected
• An excellent working knowledge of web standards, design principles, and scalable dynamic web user interfaces.
• An impeccable modern visual design aesthetic
• To be able to participate and contribute in weekly brainstorming sessions and develop great ideas
• A strong sense of creativity, foresight and good design judgment in developing and applying current trends.
• A strong eye for detail. Knows that details are capable of making a ‘good’ design ‘great’.
• Experience and know-how in creating wireframes, mock ups and user interfaces using front-end code (HTML/HTML5, CSS, JQuery& JavaScript) to interface with back-end code
• Work closely with the Back-End development team to deliver best practice in multi-media website technology and design methodology
• Advanced CSS techniques in order to solve design issues and suggest improvements
• A highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic, and truly passionate attitude for user-centered design and user experience

Skills and experience:
• PC and Mac experience with Adobe Creative Suite and relevant digital design programs
• A creative thinker with a keen focus on creating unique, stylish and usable experiences across a multitude of verticals, mediums and devices.
• Skilled and experienced in delivering innovative digital designs and with an online portfolio of web design work
• Strong web/visual design portfolio with creative UI designs and ideas
• Excellent team communications skills with ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
• Ability to self-manage during projects and proactively raise issues/concerns to the team
• Closely follows trends and developments in technology and integrates them into our environment and practices
• 3 years+ experience working in a similar online development / creative role
• Strong web/visual design portfolio with creative UI designs and ideas
• Excellent team communications skills with ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
