Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Equivalent and 3+ Years in managing Windows in a large enterprise.
- Current Certified MCSE
- To work as a team member of the Systems team as a Systems Engineer to design, deploy and test customer projects.
- The candidate will have experience with Servers and SAN hardware. Any experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server, VMware, and Citrix products would be desirable. He\She must be a self-starter, adaptable to new and challenging working environments, willing to lead and take direction from others.
- The Candidate must also be comfortable working overtime, occasional weekends, and being on an on-call rotation. Must be comfortable working flexible shifts, overtime, occasional weekends, and being on an on-call rotation. A team player attitude is a must.
- Active Directory, DFS, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Clustering, Microsoft Windows Server Patching, Scripting, and Group Policy Object (GPO) administration, Microsoft Terminal Services, Email Security (preferably Ironport) and Antivirus experience is mandatory.
Knowledge/Skills required
- Designing, Sizing, Deploying, Migrating, Managing and Troubleshooting Microsoft Windows AD environment
- Designing, Sizing, Deploying, Migrating, Managing and Troubleshooting GPO
- Designing, Sizing, Deploying, Migrating, Managing and Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2013
- Excellent Knowledge Microsoft Enterprise Licensing Model
- Designing, Sizing, Deploying, Migrating, Managing and troubleshooting Email Security Systems, Ironport or Equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP networking models, IP Addressing and Subnetting, Routing and Switching
- Experience with enterprise level DNS, DCHP and LDAP services within Active Directory
- Experience with designing backup and patching processes in the Windows Operating Systems
- Experience with capacity planning in the Windows Environment
- Experience with Terminal Services and/or Citrix
- Experience in DFS and Datacenter Level Disaster Recover Techniques
- Experience supporting and managing remote environments and equipment
- Microsoft Sharepoint Portal deployment and management
- VMware Esx/Esxi configuration and support
- VMWare Virtual Networking
- SAN configurations and support
- Server Initialization and HBA/ FCIP connectivity
- Experience with Proxy services (Forward and Reverse Proxies) and/or ISA servers
- Experience with Enterprise Anti-virus applications
- Experience with Microsoft Clustering Technology
- Experience with SQL 2000 and 2005 server configurations and backup processes
- ITIL or MOF knowledge
