Job description:
- Fully responsible for Sales promotion in Shop.
- The Salesman should always keep himself updated all purchase and sale prices of all items.
- He must greet and welcome all walk in customers in most friendly way.
- He must make the Customer feel comfortable (by offering a Seat,Tea,Snacks,Coffee etc) and then must understand the requirement of the Customer clearly.
- Salesman must explain Customers about our strengths in detail.
- The focus should not be only to sell for what the Customer has come to enquire rather on Cross Sales i.e If customer has come to purchase Rice then the Customer must also be informed that what else we deal in and try to sell other products also.
- Salesman must give his visiting card and Catalogues to all visiting Customers.
- Salesman must ensure all Charts/ Register are complete on daily basis ensuring that complete details are filled up like Name of Customer,Contact details of Customer, Enquiry details of Customer,Quantity required, Location of Delivery, rates discussed and the rates expected by the Buyer.
- The Salesman is expected to deal with the walk in Customers first, and at any point of time if there is no customer in shop then he’s supposed to call from available customers database for their demand and generate order by phone.
- Salesman must consider all Al Ras as it’s customer, must send emails to all shops in Al Ras on regular basis for new stock arrivals like Mushroom, Tomato Paste, Pineapple,Rice,Oil,Sugar etc
- He must make daily follow up calls for the shipments, track delivery of previous day order, driver followup etc.
- He must take Sales Manager’s approval for any Sales discount. (Without initial approval Sales is not acceptable).
- He must keep a watch on new products and keep their prices updated daily.
- Daily get warehouse stock report and sell cargo if expiry is near or before time.
- Salesman must ensure Cleanliness in showroom and see that all lights are working & samples are displayed properly

On coming out you'll see Standard Chartered Bank and you need to come on the back side of the same bank building. (It is very near to AL RAS MUSEUM).In case you are travelling by Car then reach the Al Ras Metro station and move ahead a little on the road and take a U turn from Dubai Library or St George Hotel which will bring you to the the Agrofoods Market wherein we have our office in Al Shisawi Building.
