- The Duty Manager should have knowledge of Liaising on an interpersonal level with all the guests (internal & external) and ensure that prompt and effective service is delivered.
- Ensure that all staff carries the correct tools of the trade and wear the correct uniform.
- Ensure that all front of house and back of house areas are kept clean and neat on periodical basis.
- Maintain disciplinary standards at Front Office Department and effective control of staff timekeeping in terms of reporting for duty, breaks and end of shifts.
- Coordinate front-office duties and resolve problems. Collect the payment and record money earned and spent.
- Also receive and process advance payments. Should be aware of answering guest queries, make them feel at home, and build on-going relationships with the guess.
- Self motivated, should be able to train the staff, well versed with the policies and procedures related to the hospitality industry.
