- The role will cover the full range of waste management projects, including:
- Managing complex technical studies and report', on a project-by-project basis .
- Being able to lead technical due diligence studies and prepare technical repo. in relation to matters involving the performance of waste treatment infrastructure .
- Managing major waste treatment investment projects and being able to write clear, concise and accurate technical reports
- Conducting feasibility studies on technical business models .
- Developing a financial operating model for each plan.
- Waste reprocessing business market research .
- Supervising and following up the implementation of approved plans and new technologies for waste management projects as per international best practices
- Bachelor, degree or preferably a postgraduate degree in Engineering, with specialization in Waste Treatment
- Preferably qualified to Master, level in a relevant engineering discipline and/or a Chartered Waste Manager .
- Minimum 12 years experience in waste treatment, with sound knowledge of specific treatment areas of expertise like material recovery facility, composting, anaerobic digestion, MBT and thermal treatment options .
- A specialist who must demonstrate competence in economics capabilities including managing capital investment projects, resource optimization and profitability assessment as well as technical due diligence with respect to waste treatment projects
- Preferably with experience in waste operations and/or waste management infrastructure development . Proven capabilities in strategic thinking and decision making .
- Good command of English: speaking and writing
- Familiarity with computer applications
