Requirements:
- You should ideally have a work experience in in hospitality with previous experiences in the Front Office Department within a hotel.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Computer literate and previous experiences with Opera, along with strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities are essentials.
key job responsibilities:
- Process all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously
- Records and control accurately wake up calls
- Pages guests in co-operation with concerned departments
- Records all entries on traffic sheets
- Assists guests with international calls and directory queries
- Abide by Hotel policies of guest privacy
- Handle guests needs or requests and report complaints to the concerned department, and initiate the follow up process as required
- Report on logbook daily
- Bill call costs
- Maintain Awareness of local telephone listings and frequently dialed numbers
- Strictly abide by standards policies and procedures governing cases of emergency.
- Advise defects on switchboard equipment to Supervisor
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Attend to all guest queries and requests promptly
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the Hotel’s fire, life and safety system
- Maintain detailed knowledge on the Emergency Response Team and workings of the telephone room in this regard
