Key Accountabilities:
- Providing complete support to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk
- Ensuring timely input of trades into trading systems
- Resolving any trade queries received internally and externally and ensuring any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
- Identifying trading opportunities and calculating strategies
- Keeping trade records up to date
- Updating real -time manual /electronic whiteboards with market data
- Providing input on various projects for brokers and traders
- Providing trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis
- Giving live quotes to traders through the messaging systems
- Monitoring markets and following financial news and developments
- Liaising with clients both on the telephone and face to face to provide a reliable and efficient broking service
- Relevant regulatory qualifications (desired )
- Sound understanding of global financial markets
- Microsoft applications software. G word, Excel, outlook etc. (essential)
- Work based experience in a similar role (essential)
- Bahrainis with a western education are encouraged to apply.
- 0-3 years' experience
