To develop and create, own, manage and lead the Liability Portfolio, in terms of volume & profitability per product, within Retail 81 Private Banking. The main focus would be on CASA (Current And Savings Accounts) to fulfil the growing needs of retail liability customer needs
Responsibilities include:
- Designing the overall Liability strategy for Retail & Private Banking in line with the Bank's strategic focus. This primarily entails: -
- Assessing the current suite of liability products for relevance and appropriateness in the current market conditions.
- Designing and developing new and innovative products and ensuring it follows all internal processes and is launched in a timely manner.
- Ensure that volumes and targets are set for each channel and product with the relevant profitability measures in place to grow CASA.
- Conduct, bank wide training programs for all new products before launch date with the relevant sales and Distribution teams.
- Work with the Marketing and Advertising teams to ensure that new and existing focus products are featured and communicated to the market to enhance sales.Monitoring and evaluating the current trends in the portfolio to recommend corrective action / retention management, as appropriate with the relevant sales and distribution heads.
- Liaising with IT, Retail Operations and Project Management Office for system design and integration to ensure seamless support to branches and ensuring efficient customer service.
- Ensure that all liability products have Central Bank approval and are not in contravention of any regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree, preferably with an MBA. Minimum of 10 years of proven and progressive
- Retail banking experience or equivalent, including a minimum of 4 years proven senior management experience or equivalent.
