Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical or Civil.
- Diploma in Industrial safety (safety certification)
- NEBOSH International Certificate & OSHA.
- 2-3 years of experience in Material handling, lifting equipments and infrastructure works.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable.
- UAE driving license.
- In depth knowledge of all IEC standards for LV Switchgear and Control gear, local utility regulations (ADDC, DEWA, SEWA, FEFA), consultant specifications.
- Conversant with Quality Management Systems,
- Computer Proficiency - Office Packages : MSOffice – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities :
- Shifting Responsibilities:
- Taking materials from client stores and delivering to internal store.
- Reconciliation of stocks and handing over of all the received materials along with proper documents to Store In-charge.
- Coordination and planning on timely delivery and collection of materials
- Coordinating with Client staff to insure there are no delays is materials issue.
- Insure required manpower, plant and machinery are in place well in advance to take the necessary materials.
- Entering the required materials in company system along with store keeper.
- Insuring all company assets are tagged and well stored as per policy.
- Overall in charge of Company stores handling power distribution or building construction materials.
- HSE Responsibilities :
- Responsible for implementation of company’s Quality, Health, Environment, Safety policy.
- Knowledge and training for safely lifting of heavy equipments.
- Implement Loss prevention systems.
- To carry out and organize related HSE training, Induction, Auditing and Inspection of all construction and logistics activities in term of HSE requirements.
- Implementation and ensuring to adhere all the safety rules and regulations as per the local Codes of construction safety practice in the various construction sites to achieve the business goals and to enhance the safety culture of the organization.
- Carrying out formal audit plans and conduct audits accordingly interface with regulatory HSE bodies.
- Evaluate the project construction to ensure compliance with Government (ADDC,DEWA, Dubai/ Abu Dhabi municipality ) standards for electrical works.
- Carry out HAZAD & HAZAN studies and implementation of mitigate actions.
- Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards for each project.
- Carrying out regular site inspections for the projects to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
- Planning practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of promoting health and safety and safe working practices.
- Serve as the representative for all matters related to construction Safety requirements and quality assurance of electrical works.
- Supervise all HSE matter relating to Cable Jointing & Termination 11kV to 33 kV.
